Piotr Rasputin was born in Russia to a family of farmers. His mutant ability manifested when he saved his younger sister Ilyana's life. Piotr was recruited by Charles Xavier in to the X-Men.

Ellie Phimister was a Genoshan mutant with precognitive abilities. She foresaw the massacre of most of the Genoshan mutants. Ellie was one of the mutants who was killed in the Sentinel attack.
